How do I Apply?

● New students, please see your advisor.
● Returning students, log-in at students.kctcs.edu
● Select the Task icon.
● Select “15 to Finish Scholarship" from your To Do List and complete task.
● Talk to your advisor if you have questions.

Who Can Apply?

Both new and current KCTCS students can apply.
● Classes must apply to your degree.
● Sign up for and successfully complete 15 hours in a degree program.
● Enroll for 15 hours in the next semester.
● Dual Credit students are not eligible.

Can I Choose My Courses?

Yes. However, courses must count toward your KCTCS degree. Courses required by transfer partners and not part of a KCTCS degree are not eligible. Developmental education courses also are not eligible.

What if I Transfer to KCTCS?

You are eligible for the scholarship:
● After you enroll,
● Successfully complete 15 credit hours toward your KCTCS degree, and
● Enroll for another 15 credit hours toward your KCTCS degree the next semester.

If other grants and aid cover my full tuition and fees, am I still eligible for this scholarship?

● Yes. You qualify for the scholarship once you successfully complete 15 credit hours in a semester and re-enroll for 15 credit hours in the next semester.
● The scholarship will be awarded in the subsequent semester.

What if I Take a Semester Off?

The 15 to Finish Scholarship encourages students to take 15 credit hours a semester so they can complete their degree faster. To be eligible, you need to enroll for 15 credit hours in two consecutive semesters (excluding summer). Talk to your advisor if you have questions.
