SKYCTC Alumni Spotlight: Art McFadden

Art McFadden s exciting career journey began at SKYCTC with an Associate s of Science degree in Information Technology/Networking. He continued his education by obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology in Automated Systems through WKU. While attending WKU, he worked as a part-time Student Patrolman-an event which gave his career plans an unexpected turn!

This sparked an interest in Law Enforcement and I decided to pursue a career in Law Enforcement, said McFadden.

McFadden is a police officer by choice, but a computer whiz by education. His skills in Information Technology are utilized to investigate cybercrimes. He is a special U.S. deputy marshal and serves on the Secret Service Electronic Crimes Task Force. McFadden has also completed the Network Intrusion Response Program advanced computer training course.

McFadden is currently the Captain, Assistant Chief of Police for the Franklin Police Department in Franklin Kentucky. He also serves on the SKYCTC Computer and Information Technologies Advisory Committee.
