The Medical Information Technology (MIT) program is designed for individuals who love the medical field bot not necessarily the clinical side of it. This program will provide you with knowledge to work within an administrative setting in healthcare facilities closely with other healthcare professionals.

Progression in the Medical Information Technology program is contingent upon achievement of a grade of C or better in each course and maintenance of a 2.0 cumulative grade point average or better (on a 4.0 scale).

Admission Requirements

This program has no special admission requirements. Maintenance of a "C" or better in each course and maintenance of a 2.0 cumulative grade point average or better (on a 4.0 scale) is required.

Length of Program

You can earn an Associate in Applied Science degree in two years if you maintain a full-time status. This may vary if transitional/developmental classes are needed.
