Radiography mission statement

Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College’s Radiography program will provide the healthcare community with competent entry level radiographers that provide compassionate and respectful care to everyone.

Program Goals

Student Learning Outcomes:

1.1 – Students (graduates) will provide appropriate patient care.
1.2 – Students (graduates) will demonstrate accurate positioning skills.
1.3 – Students (graduates) will select appropriate technical factors.
1.4 – Students (graduates) will practice radiation protection.

Student Learning Outcomes:

2.1 – Students (graduates) will demonstrate effective oral communication skills.
2.2 – Students (graduates) will demonstrate written communication skills.

3.1 – Students (graduates) will perform non-routine procedures.
3.2 – Students (graduates) will evaluate images for appropriate positioning and image quality.
