SKYCTC Adult Education honored GED graduates from Barren, Metcalfe, Simpson, and Warren counties
The graduation ceremony for Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College’s (SKYCTC) Adult Education Division was held June 3, 2022, in the College’s Building F Conference Room. Friends and family attended the ceremony that recognized the academic achievement of GED graduates from Barren, Metcalfe, Simpson, and Warren Counties.
Speaking to this year’s graduates was Bowling Green lawyer and City Commissioner Carlos D’Angelo Bailey. Mr. Bailey, who is a former member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Kentucky Justice Association, and the Warren County Bar Association, spoke about never giving up on dreams.
The Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College Adult Education Centers in Warren, Simpson, Barren, and Metcalfe Counties supply many services to the community. Services provided by Adult Education include GED preparation, remediation in reading, language, and math, college preparation, English as a second language, citizenship exam preparation, as well as supplying the Kentucky Essential Skills Certificate and the National Career Readiness Certificate.
