Jordan Crabbe and Daniel Fancher, students at Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKYCTC), have been selected as members of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System 2017 All-Academic Team.

Jordan Crabbe of Bowling Green, Kentucky was selected as the general studies representative. She is in the Associate of Arts program and is transferring to WKU to major in broadcast journalism. She was also a member of Phi Theta Kappa and a Student Ambassador at SKYCTC.

Daniel Fancher of Edmonton, Kentucky is the technical studies representative. He is in the Associate of Applied Sciences, Computer Information Technology program and plans to transfer to WKU as well.

Students from each of the 16 KCTCS colleges are chosen for the All-Academic Team based on a rigorous selection process that focuses on academic performance and campus involvement. Each member of the All-Academic Team will earn a $500 scholarship from their colleges, as well as scholarship opportunities to continue their education from 28 Kentucky public and private universities. Together, the scholarships are valued at more than $500,000.

The 2017 KCTCS All-Academic Team Scholars are part of a national program sponsored by the national honor society Phi Theta Kappa, USA Today and the American Association of Community Colleges.
