
SKYCTC Allied Health and Nursing Students Win HOSA Awards

Louisville, KY (March 17, 2017) - On Friday, March 17th members of the Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) chapter participated in the Kentucky HOSA Spring Leadership Conference in Louisville.
The following awards were presented to SKYCTC students:
1st place in HOSA Bowl

1st place in CPR/First Aid

Scoring top 10% on the Healthcare Issues Exam

This qualifies them to attend the National HOSA Conference which will be held in Orlando, Florida in June. Also the SKYCTC HOSA club was recognized as having the largest post-secondary chapter membership in the state.
