SKYCTC STUDENT ROGER LINCOLN TO PARTICIPATE IN STUDY ABROAD PROGRAM

Photo of Roger LincolnBowling Green, KY (March 21, 2016) Roger Lincoln, a student at Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKYCTC), and his wife Allison, a WKU student, will be taking the opportunity to travel to Austria this summer as part of the KIIS Study Abroad program through WKU. He will be studying Leading in Diverse and Global Communities in Bregenz, Austria. Roger is also a recipient of the Gilman scholarship for study abroad students.

Roger is currently seeking an Associate of Arts degree and an Applied Science degree (Air Conditioning) at SKYCTC and will graduate in May. He will travel to Austria shortly after graduation and study two management courses for five weeks. Roger is also a joint admissions student and will join his wife this fall at WKU. He plans to pursue his bachelor s degree in Technical Management.

I am very excited about this opportunity to study abroad. Receiving the Gilman Scholarship is a great honor. When I return, I will help promote the program at SKYCTC this fall, said Roger.
