AMT Information

After five semesters you will have earned an Associates Degree in Applied Science in Industrial Maintenance Technology - Advanced Manufacturing Technician (68-71 college credit hours), two years of work experience, and the AMT certification. At that point, you'll be ready to enter the workforce full time with all of the skills needed to succeed - and with the potential of no school debt! Check out the AMT Curriculum by semesters.To be eligible for the SKY FAME program a student must:

  • Be 18 years of age by the program start date
  • Be a U.S. citizen
  • Demonstrate academic success as measured through KCTCS College Ready benchmarks
  • Demonstrate math capabilities measured through ACT and/or COMPASS scores (minimum ACT math score of 19 and minimum COMPASS math score of 36)
  • Submission of the SKY FAME application
  • Commitment to remaining absolutely illegal drug-free

Continuing Eligibility Requirements:

  • Maintain a minimum of C average or better in all courses throughout the AMT program
  • SKYCTC course requirements met
  • Maintain and adhere to the SKYCTC Workplace Ethics Policy
