Board of Directors - Budget and Finance Committee Meeting Minutes - April 11, 2024

The Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College Board of Directors' Budget and Finance Committee held its meeting on Tuesday, April 11, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. on Main Campus, 1845 Loop Drive, Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Minutes

Call to Order

Chair Donia Massey called the meeting to order at 10:05 a.m.

Mr. Chris Cumens, Vice President of Business Services, gave a budget walk forward and financial update. He discussed budget planning going forward and revenue projects, the operating budget process, and nonrecurring expenditures.

Dr. Neal asked Mr. Cumens to add the fiscal year start/end date in the PowerPoint presentation. Dr. Neal asked if it would be beneficial to the Board to have the not-for­profit discussion ... how the College has to run like a business, but still need save for future in case needed. Dr. Neal asked the Committee to think about it.

Chair Massey stated that the presentation would be presented at the Work Session on April 25, 2024.
