Board of Directors - Academic and Student Affairs Committee Meeting Minutes - March 5, 2026

The Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College Board of Directors' 
Academic and Student Affairs Committee held its meeting on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. on Main Campus, 1845 Loop Drive, Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Minutes

Call to Order

Chair Kim Phelps called the meeting to order at 1:26 p.m. and turned the meeting over to Mr. Mark Garrett

Mr. Mark Garrett presented and discussed the preliminary 2026-2030 KCTCS Strategic Plan. He also reviewed the College's plan and key performance indicators. D. Michelle Trawick addressed the committee regarding SKYCTC's tagline, Serve More, Serve Better, Serve Together. Chair Phelps and Dr. Patrick Klapheke asked questions and provided input. 

Chair Phelps stated she would report to the Board that the committee met and reviewed the Strategic Plan.

Adjournment

The meeting adjourned at 2:01 p.m.
