Buying Books With Financial Aid

If you want to buy books with financial aid, you’ll need to allow the bookstore to charge your books to financial aid. To allow charges from the Bookstore:

  1. Log into your Student Self Service account.
  2. Click the “Financial Aid” icon.
  3. Click the “Bookstore Release” button.
  4. Read the terms carefully and agree to each section by marking “yes.”
  5. Click the enter key when you are finished.
  6. After completing the steps above, you’ll need to wait 24-hours before charging your books. While you wait, review the “how to order books online” guide.  

In order for your books to be charged to Financial Aid, be sure that you:

  • charge books during the financial aid charge period of August 4 to 25.
  • meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) - If you are unsure, call 270-901-1000.
  • have enough financial aid awarded to cover your student bill charges and your book charges.
  • be registered for classes at least 24-hours before charging your books.
  • complete the Bookstore Release form at least 24-hours prior to charging your books.
