"Don't miss out on this opportunity to receive expert FAFSA assistance and potentially win a scholarship!"

February marks National Financial Aid Awareness Month, and Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKYCTC) is gearing up for action. Partnering with the Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority (KHEAA), SKYCTC is excited to announce two upcoming FAFSA Funday Events.

Scheduled for Tuesday, February 27, from 3-6 p.m., and Sunday, March 17, from 12-3 p.m., these events aim to provide crucial support for individuals navigating the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) process. With recent changes to the FAFSA, the organizers believe that students may require additional assistance in completing their applications.

During the FAFSA Funday events, expert advisors will be on hand to guide attendees through the FAFSA completion process and address any questions or concerns they may have. This personalized assistance ensures that students understand the application requirements and can accurately complete the form.

In addition to expert guidance, February 27th attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a scholarship drawing. Students who attend the FAFSA Funday event in February will be entered to win a $500 scholarship, which can be used at any college in Kentucky. The scholarship winners will be selected randomly and announced no later than February 29, 2024. Additional prizes from SKYCTC will be given away at both events.

To reserve a spot at one of the FAFSA Funday events, interested individuals are encouraged to register in advance.
