Financial Aid Check List
Expecting Financial Aid to pay for your tuition?
Use the following list to make sure you have completed all the steps.
A new FAFSA is required each academic year. If you have not applied or renewed your application for Financial Aid, we encourage you to complete the FAFSA. The SKYCTC school code is 005271.
Once the FAFSA is submitted, the government can request additional documentation to be submitted. This process is called "verification". You cannot receive Financial Aid until this process is complete. Check your "to do" list on your student self-service page through Mypath to determine if you have been selected for verification and ensure you have completed all the paperwork.
Take a few moments to thoroughly review your Financial Aid Award in student self-service. You should also know your rights as a recipient.
If you have not met Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements, you could lose Financial Aid eligibility. Check your "to do" list to ensure that SAP status has not been changed to "suspended".
You can now set up a payment plan on your student self-service.
