SKYCTC Alumni Spotlight - Kayla Childress

Kayla Childress is a 2014 SKYCTC graduate who majored in Surgical Technology and now serves as a Lead Tech in Endo at TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital.

"I chose SKYCTC because it put me on a pathway that would allow me to not only have a guaranteed job, but a guaranteed career. I was very fortunate to be a work study student in the President’s office. I am so lucky to have been influenced by Sherri Forester, Sharon Gibson, Millie Wells, and Donna Martin, all of whom helped instill a strong work ethic in my studies. This ultimately led to having great experience, and creating lasting relationships with students, faculty and staff alike." – Kayla Childress
