SKY Phi Beta Lambda students win awards at State Leadership Convention

Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College would like to congratulate our business students who competed at the Kentucky FBLA Collegiate (formerly Phi Beta Lambda) Leadership Conference. SKYCTC students were the only community college students competing. All other competitors were from four-year colleges and universities.

SKYCTC PBL took home the following awards:

1st Place - Client Service - Magdalena Ramirez
1st Place - Business Communication - Janeth Pacheco
1st Place - Management Concepts - Maryan Mohamed
1st Place - Organizational Leadership - Maryan Mohamed
2nd Place - Programming Concepts - Paul Van Ness
2nd Place - Business Presentation - Magdalena Ramirez & Ma’Khya Taylor
2nd Place - State of Chapter - Maryan Mohamed & Angie Tamang
2nd Place - Outstanding Chapter
3rd Place - Computer Concepts - Paul Van Ness

These students are now eligible to compete at the National FBLA Collegiate Conference that will be held June 22-25 in Atlanta, Georgia. They will be working hard the next few weeks to raise money to help pay for this trip.
