SKYCTC Announces Allied Health Award Recipients

Each year, Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKYCTC) recognizes students from each of the Allied Health programs of the College who have excelled in academic and clinical excellence as well as leadership.

This year, SKYCTC honored seventeen Allied Health students with awards presented at the annual Allied Health Award Ceremony held on April 26, 2024, at the Colleges Loop Drive Campus. 

Additionally, the SKYCTC Allied Health students chose four professional mentors from area healthcare facilities to receive an award for their contributions to the program.

Awards recipients in their respective categories were:

• Radiography - Ashley Murphy - Warren Co.
• Respiratory - Mikeala Brooks - Warren Co & Sophia DeMoranville - Warren Co.
• Surgical Technology - Allie Bobbett - Logan Co.

Clinical Exellence                                                                                                                   In recognition of achieving and maintaining the highest level of clinical proficiency -             

• Medical Lab Tech - Mailey Ford - Barren Co.
• Radiography - Samantha Meador - Warren Co.
• Respiratory - Amber Parker - Warren Co.
• Surgical Technology - Audrey Browder - Warren Co.                       

Excellence in Leadership                                                                                                        

In recognition for demonstrating outstanding leadership skills and integrity consistently exhibited toward fellow students -

• Radiography - Taylor M. Miller - Warren Co.
