April 2024 FBLA Collegiate Member Spotlight - Ann-Riley Cox

April’s FBLA Collegiate Member Spotlight features Ann-Riley Cox. Ann-Riley was born and raised in Rockfield.

When asked why she joined FBLA Collegiate, Ann-Riley explains, “I joined to get involved with the SKYCTC community and prepare myself for my professional future.” 

What has Ann-Riley enjoyed the most about FBLA Collegiate? “I enjoy our business tours and preparing for State Conference with my peers. My favorite tour was Blue Cotton because it was cool to see how the company started from one person and grew into a big factory,” she says.

Why does Ann-Riley recommend FBLA Collegiate? She explains, “I would recommend FBLA Collegiate to other students who are wanting to get involved with their peers and learn more about the local community.”

What brought Ann-Riley to SKYCTC? “I came to SKYCTC because I was unsure of my future but knew it involved school. I love the campus, small classes, and the cost of tuition,” she says.

Ann-Riley will graduate in December 2024 with an Associate in Applied Science degree in Business Administration (Management track). After graduation, she wants to pursue a career that she will enjoy. 

Family is extremely important to Ann-Riley. “I am an only child, and my parents are very hardworking and supportive. They have shaped who I am as a person,” she says.

Ann-Riley’s hobbies include going to concerts, thrifting, and reading. She also has two dogs, Scout and Tilly. 

A fun fact about Ann-Riley is that she has lived on the same street her entire life!
