Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College Students Excel in Microsoft Office Specialist Certification

Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKYCTC) is proud to announce the exceptional achievements of its students and educators in the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification program.

During the Fall Qualifier of the 2024 Microsoft Office Specialist U.S. National Championship, SKYCTC students showcased their proficiency by securing the top placement in Kentucky. Notable achievements include:

• Paris Carlson of Bowling Green, KY, placed 1st in Kentucky in PowerPoint 365.  Paris is pursuing a Computer & Information Technologies degree with a focus on security.
• Brooke Stinson of Scottsville, KY, placed 1st in Kentucky in Word 365.  Brooke is pursuing a Medical Information Technology degree.

The MOS certification is a prestigious credenial that validates individuals' proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, equipping them with essential skills for academic and professional endeavors. MOS-certified individuals demonstrate mastery over the full features and functionality of Microsoft Office, enhancing their competitiveness in the job market.
