SKYCTC to host SKY Spirit Week Aug. 26-29

Bowling Green, Ky. – Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College is excited to announce SKY Spirit Week, which will be held August 26-29. 

Each day, the college will be holding activities that students, faculty and staff can participate in to show their school spirit. 

SKYCTC also encourages the community to show their SKY pride by posting photos on social media wearing SKYCTC colors and using the hashtag #SKYCTCSpiritWeek. 

The College Barnes and Noble Book Store will be showing their SKY pride by offering discounts. (See your student email for more details)

Throughout the week, the College will provide events for students to connect with one another, the College, and faculty and staff. 

Spirit Week activities include:

Monday Aug. 26 – Merch Search

SKY t-shirts and goodie bags will be hidden throughout the campuses for lucky hunters to find and claim.

Tuesday, Aug. 27 – Stay Cool Day

Cool down with a free drink provided by The Grove Café on the main campus. Drinks will also be provided at other campuses.

Wednesday, Aug. 28 – SKYCTC Student Life Showcase

Have fun, play games, and learn how to join a SKYCTC club! Club representatives will be at the Main Campus to provide information and activities. The showcase will also feature give-a-ways, and participants can earn free lunch at The Grove Café. Students should check their Student Newsletter for more information and the date of upcoming Student Life Showcase events at other campus locations.

Thursday, Aug. 29 – College Colors Day and gift card drawing

All students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to wear SKY blue and gold colors or logoed apparel to show their school spirit. Selfies can be posted at #SKYCTCSpiritWeek. Students can enter a drawing for a chance to win a gift card or SKYCTC merch.
