SKYCTC Announces 2025 Award OF Excellence Winners

Bowling Green, KY (December 16, 2025) – Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKYCTC) proudly recognizes faculty and staff members who exemplify exceptional service, dedication, and positive impact through its annual Awards of Excellence. Nominees are submitted by peers, and winners are selected by community members based on those nominations.

This year’s recipients are Ms. Megan Saling (Outstanding Support Staff), Ms. Rebecca Lee (Outstanding Administrative Staff), and Ms. Amanda Page (Outstanding Faculty).

Outstanding Support Staff Award – Ms. Megan Saling
Since joining SKYCTC in December 2023, Megan Saling has become an indispensable member of the college community. Recognized for her professionalism, reliability, and positive attitude, she consistently goes above and beyond to support students, faculty, and staff. Megan is a founding member of the Culture of Caring Hygiene Baskets initiative, serves as Treasurer of the Staff Council, and supports veteran students through campus involvement and community service. Her compassion, leadership, and commitment to service truly embodies SKYCTC’s culture of caring.

Outstanding Administrative Staff Award – Ms. Rebecca Lee
Rebecca Lee, AVP of Marketing and Communication, has played a pivotal role in advancing SKYCTC’s growth and student outreach since 2017. In a first-of-its-kind role for the college, she has led strategic initiatives such as the student communication journey, Keys to Success website, and Real World advertising campaign. Rebecca remains deeply engaged in community service and leadership across Southcentral Kentucky. Her servant leadership and passion for education makes a lasting impact on students and the region.

Outstanding Faculty Award – Ms. Amanda Page
Amanda Page is a dedicated nursing educator known for innovative, student-centered teaching that bridges classroom learning with real-world application. Her creative instructional strategies enhance both clinical knowledge and communication skills. Amanda also contributes to campus safety initiatives, represents SKYCTC through regional and state competitions, and serves on the Board of Action Inc., supporting youth and family wellness. Her commitment to student success and community engagement exemplifies faculty excellence.
