SKYCTC to host two FAFSA Funday events in February!

Guidance and support on filling out the FAFSA and a chance to win a $500 scholarship from KHEAA 

Bowling Green, KY – February marks National Financial Aid Awareness Month, and Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKYCTC) is stepping up to help students navigate the financial aid process. In partnership with the Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority (KHEAA), SKYCTC will host two FAFSA Funday events designed to assist students and families in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

 FAFSA Funday Event Details:

  • Sunday, February 23 | 12:00 – 3:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday, February 26 | 3:00 – 6:00 p.m.

These events come at a crucial time as new changes implemented for the 2024-2025 FAFSA cycle may require additional guidance for students completing their 2025-2026 applications.

What to Expect at FAFSA Funday:

  • Expert advisors providing one-on-one FAFSA completion assistance
  • Answers to FAFSA-related questions and concerns
  • A chance to win a prize at each event, with winners announced by February 28, 2025
  • Entry to win a $500 FAFSA Completion Scholarship from KHEAA
  • Free refreshments and SKYCTC merchandise giveaways
