
SKYCTC presents Wellness Week Events March 2-5

Bowling Green, Ky. – A healthy body and mind are essential for student success, especially for college students balancing coursework, employment, and family responsibilities. Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKYCTC) will host a series of free activities designed to promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being during SKYCTC Wellness Week, March 2–5.
Wellness Week events are open to students and focus on stress management, mental health awareness, creative expression, and healthy lifestyle choices. Registration is available online at: SKYCTC Wellness Week Registration Link.
Mental Health Awareness
Students are invited to stop by and explore mental health resources and materials
available at SKYCTC.
Date & Time: Monday, March 2, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Location: Main Campus, Building L, Social Staircase Lobby
Relax, Recharge, and Revitalize: Yoga
This calming yoga session offers students a chance to step away from the demands of
college life and focus on relaxation and mindfulness. The session is suitable for
all fitness levels, from beginners to experienced participants.
Date & Time: Tuesday, March 3, 12:15 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Location: Main Campus, outside Building L on The Grove (rain location to be determined).
Registration is required via QR code.
Painting with David
In this interactive and creative event, students will paint along with SKYCTC’s own
Professor Jones. Participants will receive painting supplies and guidance to create
their own artwork during the session.
Date & Time: Wednesday, March 4, 12:15 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Location: Remote event with supply pickup at Main Campus, Building G, Art Studio.
Registration via QR code is required.
Nutrition BINGO
Students can test their nutrition knowledge while enjoying a free-to-play BINGO game
featuring nutrition-themed prizes.
Date & Time: Thursday, March 5, 12:15 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Location: Main Campus, Building L, The Grove Café
