SKYCTC TRIO to host Summer Financial Aid Workshops for students

Bowling Green, KY (June 12, 2025) – As students and families across the nation continue to face financial barriers to higher education, Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKYCTC) is stepping up to help. The College’s TRIO program will host a series of interactive financial aid workshops this summer to assist students with completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

The workshops are open to all SKYCTC students as well as members of the community seeking help with the financial aid process. Sessions will be held on SKYCTC’s Main Campus, located at 1845 Loop Drive in Bowling Green, KY, in Building J, Rooms 107 and 104. Each session is scheduled in 30-minute intervals between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Attendees are encouraged to bring relevant financial documents, including their family’s 2023 tax forms, to help ensure accurate FAFSA completion.

TRIO is a federally funded program sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education. All services provided through TRIO are completely free.
