SKYCTC Offers Fall Fast-Path Classes for Students Ready to Get a Head Start

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Students who want to start college this fall but need a little more time to get started now have another option at Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKYCTC).

SKYCTC’s new Fall Fast-Path gives students the opportunity to begin a 12-week class on September 14 and complete the course by the end of the fall semester. Most Fall Fast-Path classes are offered online, providing students with the flexibility to balance college with work and other responsibilities.

The new option also provides an opportunity for students planning to begin college in Spring 2027 to get a head start on their education. Current SKYCTC students may also be able to use Fall Fast-Path courses to enroll in a class that was full when the fall semester began.

“Fall Fast-Path gives students another opportunity to begin or continue their college journey this fall,” said Dr. Lisa Hunt, Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs at SKYCTC. “Whether you are a new student who needs a little more time to prepare, a current student looking to add another course or someone planning to start in the spring, these flexible classes can help you reach your educational goals.”

SKYCTC offers students:

  • Affordable tuition: SKYCTC offers some of the lowest tuition rates in Kentucky, with scholarships and financial aid available to eligible students.
  • Small class sizes: Students receive personalized attention and support without getting lost in the crowd.
  • Flexible programs: Students can choose programs and class schedules designed to help them balance work, family and college.
  • Multiple course lengths: Students can choose from 16-week, 12-week and 8-week classes to find an option that fits their schedules.
  • Career and transfer pathways: SKYCTC offers career-ready programs as well as pathways designed to help students transfer to four-year institutions.
