Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College to hold groundbreaking for Future Glasgow Health Campus April 30

Glasgow, KY –Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKYCTC) will host a groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate the future site of its new Glasgow Health Campus, a major investment in expanding health care education and workforce training in the region.

Members of the community are invited to attend this milestone event, which marks a significant step forward in addressing the Commonwealth’s growing demand for skilled health care professionals.

The new campus is made possible through funding from the Kentucky General Assembly, which allocated $90 million to the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) for capital projects aimed at replacing or consolidating outdated facilities and strengthening workforce development across the state.

Speakers will include KCTCS President Ryan Quarles, SKYCTC President and CEO Michelle Trawick, and local and regional leaders who played a key role in bringing the project to fruition.

While the existing Glasgow Health Campus has served students for decades, the new location will provide a modern, state-of-the-art environment designed to support expanded enrollment and enhanced training opportunities in nursing and other health-related programs.

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from college leadership, capture visuals of the site, and learn more about how the project will impact students, the workforce, and the broader region.
