
Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College announce new leadership appointments
Bowling Green, KY – Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College is pleased to announce the appointment of two individuals to new leadership positions within the college.
Steve Hatcher will assume the role of Acting Dean of Advanced Manufacturing Technologies, effective June 15, 2026. Hatcher has served as a dedicated faculty member in the Welding Technology program at SKYCTC for the past 28 years. In addition to his instructional responsibilities, he has also served as Assistant to the Dean of the Advanced Manufacturing Technologies division for several years, providing leadership and support to faculty and students across the division.
Kathryne LeFevre now serves as Acting Dean of Library and Academic Services. LeFevre began working at SKYCTC in August 2013 as a librarian. In Spring 2020, following the retirement of the previous Library Director, she was selected as Director of Library and Learning Services, overseeing both library and tutoring services. In her current role as Acting Dean of Library and Academic Services, LeFevre’s responsibilities have expanded to include accessibility services, digital learning support, and first-year experience initiatives. She brings 24 years of experience in academic libraries, including service at both the University of Kentucky Libraries and SKYCTC.
These leadership appointments reflect the dedication, experience, and commitment each of these individuals brings to the College.
