SKYCTC nursing students honored at Pinning Ceremony

Fourty-two lpn graduates in their uniforms with words class of 2026

Cave City, KY -Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKYCTC) honored 42 Practical Nursing students from their Glasgow Campus at their annual nursing pinning ceremony Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at the Cave Area Conference Center. The ceremony marks the LPN student’s completion of their Nursing associate in applied science degree. 

“Nursing school is incredibly demanding, and only those who have experienced it can truly understand the level of commitment required,” said Dr. Angie Harlan, Dean of Allied Health and Nursing at SKYCTC. “These graduates have shown that they possess the qualities, dedication, and passion to excel in one of the most highly regarded ethical professions in the United States.”

This year’s graduates of the SKYCTC Practical Nursing Program were: Kaylen Anderson, Greenlee Ballard, Lexie Barbour, Jayci Bennett, Lexie Bowles, Hannah Brown, Kailey Bryant, Flora Calihua, Hailey Canter, Brilee Clark, Maddie Cleaver, Priestly Combs, Hailey Cook, Kimber Doyle, Amber Dusenberry, Raven Evans, Beatrice Forte, Ta’lin Gamble, Grace Graham, Savannah Hagan, Emily Hawkins, Michael Herzog, Madison Johns, Kiley King, Mia London, Maggie McBrayer, Daniela Miguel-Ramires, Lindsay Mitchell, Caitlin Nash, Liz Ortiz, Carston Payne, Courtney Pierce, Kiyah Ragland, Kennady Rush, Brianna Saltsman, Kylie Schramlin, Chloe Shaw, Ellea Smith, Kaylee Stinson, Kat Thorpe, Daisha Tingle, and Haylee Todd.

  • Med Center Pharmacology Award: Kailey Bryant
  • Mollie Carmon Obstetrical Award: Hannah Brown
  • Mental Health Award: Brilee Clark
  • Joy Rudenga Memorial Award: Ta’lin Gamble
  • Ann K. Rogers Nursing Award, presented by the Glasgow Business and Professional Women’s Club: Brianna Saltsman
  • Clearview Compassionate Clinical Nurse Award, presented by Glenview and Barren County Nursing and Rehabilitation: Lindsay Mitchell
  • Stephanie Shirley Better Way Award, presented by NHC Healthcare: Haylee Todd
  • Heroic “Hart” Award, presented by Signature HealthCARE of Hart County: Courtney Pierce
  • Signature HealthCARE of BG Commitment to Care Award: Kimber Doyle
  • Dr. Jimmy T. Isenberg Nursing Award: Lexie Barbour
  • Rebecca Forest Scholarship: Kimber Doyle
  • Courtney Poynter Memorial Award: Haylee Todd
  • Perfect Attendance Award: Lindsay Mitchell

SKYCTC’s Registered Nursing program continues to receive national recognition for excellence. Both the Glasgow and Bowling Green campuses have been recognized by RegisteredNursing.org for their outstanding performance.

Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College has been educating highly trained nurses for the region since 1957.
