SKYCTC Spirit Week set for August 24-27

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKYCTC) will celebrate Spirit Week Aug. 24-27 with special activities, giveaways, food and opportunities for students to show their SKYCTC pride.

The week’s activities include:

Monday, Aug. 24 – Free Drink Day
Students can stop by The Grove Café for a free drink by mentioning the Spirit Week Special. Canned and bottled beverages will be available for students at other SKYCTC campuses. Exclusions apply. Students should see the Pathfinder Press newsletter for complete details.

Tuesday, Aug. 25 – College Colors Day
Students wearing college colors — blue and/or yellow — or SKYCTC merchandise can receive a free drink at The Grove Café. Exclusions apply. See the Pathfinder Press newsletter for full details.

Students are also encouraged to snap a selfie while wearing their college colors or SKYCTC merchandise and send it to SKY-Marketing for possible inclusion in the next Pathfinder Press newsletter. Everyone who submits a photo will be entered into a drawing to win a $15 Starbucks gift card.

Wednesday, Aug. 26 – Student Life Showcase
Students can visit the Student Life Showcase in the Main Campus courtyard for free food and an opportunity to learn more about SKYCTC student clubs and community organizations.

Thursday, Aug. 27 – Merch Search
Students can take part in the Merch Search by looking for hidden goodie bags at SKYCTC campuses. Those who find the bags can enjoy the surprise inside.

Spirit Week is designed to bring students together, showcase campus resources and organizations, and give students an opportunity to celebrate their SKYCTC pride.
