BOWLING GREEN, Ky. Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College will launch a new Winter Session on Dec. 14, 2026, allowing students to earn up to four college credit hours during winter break.

The accelerated session can help students stay on track toward graduation or complete coursework toward a degree, diploma, or certificate.

Students attending other colleges and universities can also enroll. Visiting students should apply early and consult their home institution’s academic advisor to confirm that credits will meet their degree requirements.

Winter Session is part of SKYCTC’s spring term, giving students the flexibility to register for the new four-week winter classes alongside 16- and eight-week spring classes beginning in January and March 2027. Winter tuition and fees will appear on spring bills, and eligible students may use spring financial aid to help cover costs. Students should review their eligibility with their adviser.

Winter Session condenses instruction into four weeks, requiring an intensive workload. Tutoring and other academic support services will be available during the session.

Students should consult an advisor to select courses that fit their goals. For available courses, admission information and registration details, visit skyctc.cc/SW-Terms. Check the college’s academic calendar for course dates and deadlines.
