Culinary Arts logoOn behalf of the Kentucky Restaurant Association (KRA) and Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKYCTC), SKYCTC Culinary Instructor, Chef Jason Lindsey and Heather Rogers, Executive Director of the SKYCTC Foundation, presented a check for $500 to Angela Gott, ACSHS Consumer and Family Science Program Instructor for an Industry of Opportunity Grant. Ms. Gott's grant proposal titled "Let's Get Cheesy" was selected to receive the teacher grant provided by the KRA /SKYCTC partnership to fund a culinary unit that will explore the "world of cheese".

A nursing studentSouthcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College's (SKYCTC) Nursing Program class of 2016 achieved a 100 percent passing rate on the National Council Licensure Examination-RN (NCLEX-RN). The national pass rate for all nursing programs sits at 86 percent, placing SKYCTC at the top of their jurisdiction and the country.
