SKYCTC AWARDS SCHOLARSHIPS AT GLASGOW-BARREN COUNTY CHAMBER INDUSTRY APPRECIATION WEEK BREAKFAST

Glasgow, KY (September 11, 2014) - Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKYCTC) was the honored to sponsor of this year s Glasgow-Barren County Chamber Industry Appreciation Week breakfast held Friday, September 12, 204 at the Barren River State Resort Lodge.

At the breakfast SKYCTC awarded two Presidential Scholarships. Christina Leber, a nursing student at the SKYCTC Glasgow Health Campus, received the scholarship in recognition of her academic achievement, work ethic, and class leadership.

Each year at the IAW breakfast, SKYCTC also awards a Presidential Scholarship to an employee of the Glasgow-Barren County Industry of the Year to be utilized at the Colleges Glasgow Technology Campus. SKYCTC congratulate Amneal Pharmaceuticals of Glasgow as the 2014 Industry of the Year , and was honored to award the Presidential Scholarship to employee John Duncan.
