Licensure Disclosure

Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKYCTC) offer courses, certificate programs, diplomas, and associate degrees that may lead to licensure or certification that is required for employment in your state. Requirements for licensure or certification in other states may vary. SKYCTC is a member of the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (NC-SARA) which allows us to provide distance learning programs (both online and in the form of supervised field experiences) and coursework to residents of states other than Kentucky.

Southcentral Community and Technical College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate degrees. Questions about the accreditation of SKYCTC may be directed in writing to the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges at 1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, GA 30033-4097, by calling (404) 679-4500, or by using information available on SACSCOC’s website

If you currently live outside of Kentucky, be aware there may be additional requirements needed to obtain licensure or certification in your state. SKYCTC has made every effort to ensure the educational requirements for licensure or certification information is correct; however, state requirements may change following the publication of this information. Consult with your state’s licensing/certification board to determine if your chosen path of study will meet their requirements.
