What is Electrical Technology?
The world runs on electricity. Electricity is used in our homes and schools, electronics and entertainment, manufacturing, and nearly every other aspect of human existence. To keep this very important commodity flowing safely and reliably through all corners of residential and industrial life, we need highly trained electricians. The Electrical Technology program provides a solid foundation of electrical theory and related practical applications. Class and laboratory instruction includes electrical theory and systems design; residential and commercial wiring, conduit bending; and advanced training in motor controls and programmable logic controllers. Degree specializations are offered in both industrial electrician and construction electrician.

You can earn an associate in applied science degree in two years if you maintain full-time status.
