Franklin-Simpson Industrial Authority celebrated for $10,000 contribution to endowment campaign, supporting growth and sustainability for SKY FAME

In a commendable demonstration of commitment to community development and higher education, the Franklin-Simpson Industrial Authority has contributed a generous $10,000 to the ongoing endowment campaign, “Showcase, Support, Sustain… The Future of SKY FAME”. This notable donation not only underscores the Franklin-Simpson Industrial Authority's dedication to community prosperity but also propels initiatives aimed at securing the long-term viability of essential programs centered around advanced manufacturing.

The Franklin-Simpson Industrial Authority's significant support plays a pivotal role in advancing the goals of the endowment campaign, contributing to the sustainability of global-best advanced maintenance technicians for the local industries. 

Kelcie Richart, Campus Director at SKYCTC’s Franklin-Simpson Center, adds, “Their generosity reflects a steadfast commitment to fostering a thriving community in Simpson County. Beyond their philanthropic efforts, the Franklin-Simpson Industrial Authority has been instrumental in driving robust economic development initiatives in the region. Notably, Simpson County has emerged as the sixth fastest-growing county in Kentucky. Thank you to the Franklin-Simpson Industrial Board for believing in our efforts and our vision to sustain this crucial talent pipeline.” 

This achievement highlights the Franklin-Simpson Industrial Authority's foresight and dedication to fostering a vibrant economic landscape. Their strategic initiatives have not only propelled local economic growth but have also positioned Simpson County as a key player in Kentucky's development. “One of our major team members in our efforts to recruit industry to Simpson County is definitely the staff with Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College. Our success in economic development has been dependent on having SKYCTC as a major resource for our community,” said Dennis Griffen, Executive Director of the Franklin-Simpson Industrial Authority.
