Assistant Professor Leslie Nichols’ FYE 110 class recognized as a Quality Matters (QM) certified course

Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKYCTC) Assistant Professor Leslie Nichols’ FYE 110 class has been officially recognized as a Quality Matters (QM) certified course.

In April 2023, Assistant Professor Nichols submitted her course to Quality Matters, an organization that is internationally known for its commitment to superior online course design, for external peer review.

Anyone who submits their course for QM certification must meet all of the required criteria on the Quality Matters rubric, as well as achieving a total score of 85% or higher for the entire rubric.

Assistant Professor Nichols far exceeded expectations with a spectacular 97% score on the first review, a rare feat for QM submissions.

Leslie has demonstrated outstanding commitment to online excellence and to creating the best possible online environment for her students, and we are proud to see that she has been nationally recognized for her achievement and her effort.
