Nicholas Hart - October 2023 FBLA Collegiate Member Spotlight

October’s FBLA Collegiate Member Spotlight features Nicholas Hart, a native of Bowling Green. 

When asked why he joined FBLA Collegiate, Nicholas explains, “I joined FBLA to improve on my public speaking and networking skills.” 

What has Nicholas enjoyed the most about FBLA Collegiate? “I've enjoyed meeting the group most so far in FBLA but look forward to our small business visits” he says. 

Why does Nicholas recommend FBLA Collegiate? He explains, “I would recommend FBLA to others if they want to meet like-minded students and add something positive to their resume.”

What brought Nicholas to SKYCTC? “Needing a sponsor for FINRA testing brought me to SKYCTC, knowing I would not get a sponsor without pursuing a financial degree,” he says.

Nicholas will graduate in 2024 with an Associate in Applied Science – Business Administration (Accounting) degree. After graduation, he will be pursuing a bachelor’s degree and then an MBA at WKU. Nicholas wants to own an investment bank. 

Nicholas is proud of his family, and they own a successful business, S&B Fencing. “My family is a pretty simple southern family; they're all smart and always willing to help anyone that needs it.” he says. 

His hobbies are basketball, finance, psychology, and history. Growing up, he had three cats and two dogs. A fun fact about Nicholas is that he shares the same birthday as Dr. Seuss. He is a follower of Christ at Crossland Community Church.
