KCTCS Students invited to enroll in the Pathfinder Student Leadership Conference
Bowling Green, Ky. – Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKYCTC) is offering a one-day leadership conference for all KCTCS students interested in leadership initiatives to further their success in college and their future careers.
Through a combination of workshops, experiential activities and self-reflection, students will learn how to make positive changes in their own lives and in their community.
This free conference will be offered entirely online:
- When: Friday, February 7th from 4:00pm – 9:30pm (CST)
or Saturday, February 8th from 9:00am – 2:30pm (CST) - Medium: Virtual training via MS Teams
The leadership conference will explore topics such as:
- Leadership a Primer
- Unconventional Leadership - The Artist as Activist
- Communication and Persuasion
- Dealing with Conflict
- Program Planning, Collaboration and How to Stretch Your Budget
- Transferable skills and the job search.
Students who attend and complete the conference will receive the Pathfinder Institute Certificate.
Students who submit their personal leadership philosophy paper (rubric will be sent to all students who register for the conference) will receive the Reflective Student Leader Certificate.
Students who are active members in a student organization at their home institution will receive the Involved Student Leader Certificate.
