KCTCS Students invited to enroll in the Pathfinder Student Leadership Conference

Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKYCTC) is offering a one-day leadership conference for all KCTCS students interested in leadership initiatives to further their success in college and their future careers.

Through a combination of workshops, experiential activities and self-reflection, students will learn how to make positive changes in their own lives and in their community.

This free conference will be offered entirely online:

  • When: Friday, February 6th from 4:00pm – 9:30pm (CST) 
    or Saturday, February 7th from 9:00am – 2:30pm (CST)
  • Medium: Virtual training via MS Teams

The leadership conference will explore topics such as:

  • Leadership a Primer
  • Unconventional Leadership - The Artist as Activist
  • Recruitment and Retention
  • Dealing with Conflict
  • Communication and Persuasion
  • Your Network is Your Net Worth: Cultivating Social Capital workshop
  • Transferable skills and job search.

Students who attend and complete the conference will receive the Pathfinder Institute Certificate.

Students who submit their personal leadership philosophy paper (rubric will be sent to all students who register for the conference) will receive the Reflective Student Leader Certificate.

Students who are active members in a student organization at their home institution will receive the Involved Student Leader Certificate.
