Latasha Bunton (2018 - Associate in Arts)
Latasha Bunton is a 2018 graduate of the SKYCTC Associate in Arts program, studying Human Resources, and she also served as a Student Ambassador while attending SKYCTC. She then transferred to Western Kentucky University and completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Resource Management. Latasha is currently employed as a Human Resource Generalist with Magna.
Brian Eadens (1999 - Air Conditioning Technology)
Brian Eadens completed his diploma in Air Conditioning Technology from SKYCTC (formerly Bowling Green Technical College) in 1999. He completed his Associate of Applied Science Degree in 2007. He continued his studies at Western Kentucky University and earned a Bachelor?s Degree in Vocational Education in 2012. He has been a Journeyman HVAC Mechanic since 1999, and has been a licensed Master HVAC Contractor since 2008. Brian began to teach HVAC on the high school level in 2006 in Butler County, and then returned to SKYCTC to teach Air Conditioning Technology in 2018, where he is an Associate Professor.
Christy Fuqua (1981 - Accounting Management)
Christy graduated from SKYCTC in 1981 with a degree in accounting management. With the help of the college, she began a career in banking and finance that same year. She later went on to work in real estate and accounting before starting a business, Diversified Electrical, Inc., with her husband in 1997 where she is still employed.
Austin Hatfield (2014 - Associate in Arts)
Austin graduated from SKYCTC with honors and transferred to WKU, where he graduated valedictorian of his class as the Ogden Foundation Scholar. He went on to UK College of Law where he graduated in the top 10% of his class. Austin is currently employed at the law office of Frost Brown Todd.
Brandon Judd (2005 - Radiography)
Brandon graduated in 2005 from the SKYCTC Radiography program. Alongside Radiography, he obtained post-primary certifications from ARRT in Computed Tomography and Cardiac-Interventional Radiography. Following his time at SKYCTC, he transferred and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, specializing in Corporate Finance, and later pursued a Master of Business Administration degree. Presently, he holds the position of Senior Manager in Marketing Operations at Philips.
Treva Shirley (1997 - Radiography)
Treva graduated from SKYCTC’s Radiography program in 1997 and worked as an x-ray technician and then as an MRI technologist, utilizing the strong foundation set at SKY to excel. Treva is now the Coordinator at TJ Regional Health’s Fit for Life Occupational Health and Employee Wellness, and she serves on multiple advisory boards benefiting our communities.
Marsha Shorts (2012 - Business Administration)
Marsha Shorts is a 2012 SKYCTC Business Administration Associate Degree program graduate. While at SKYCTC, she worked with the Advanced Manufacturing Technologies division as a student worker. Upon graduating from SKYCTC, she continued to Morehead State University to earn her Bachelor's degree and eventually her Master's degree in Adult and Higher Education with a Community College emphasis. While she left SKYCTC after graduation in 2012, she returned to the Advanced Manufacturing Technologies division as an Administrative Assistant in 2013. Since then, she became the division's Academic Coordinator and currently serves SKYCTC in that role.
