
SKYCTC Welcome Students to the Spring Semester

Dear Students,
Welcome to SKYCTC! We are delighted to have you in classes this semester. Please review the following information before your classes start. (If you are a dual-credit student, some of the information below will not apply to you. Contact sky-dualcredit@kctcs.edu with specific questions.)
- Remember that the spring semester begins on Monday, January 12. Please double-check your class schedule. If a building location is listed on your schedule, the class will be in person at that building.
- Construction is currently underway in Building D on the Main Campus. For your safety, do not enter Building D.
- The health and safety of students and employees is a top priority. If you feel ill, please stay home and contact your instructor.
- SKYCTC is a smoke-free institution. This includes all tobacco products and vapes.
- Weapons are prohibited on person and in any building owned or controlled by KCTCS.
- Welcome Tables are located on each campus. Pick up some handy information there.
- You can access Blackboard, student email, and Student Self-Service at http://mypath.kctcs.edu.
- BetterMynd Online Therapy Solutions provides individual counseling sessions to SKYCTC students (aged 18 and above). In addition, well-being workshops and a 24/7 on-demand crisis and support line are also available. More information available at https://skyctc.cc/bettermynd.
- The SKYCTC bookstore is located in Building H 111B on the Main Campus. Please have
your schedule and ID ready. View the bookstore's hours of operation. Financial aid may be used to make purchases in the bookstore until January 23, 2026. (Online
purchases using financial aid may be made through January 22, 2026.) Graduating students
may purchase graduation regalia (cap and gown) using financial aid at https://colleges.herffjones.com/college/kctcs/sc.html.

SKYCTC Inclement Weather Information
Unusual situations, such as severe weather, may require SKYCTC to close the institution and/or offer services remotely. Should the institution have to close or transition to remote instruction and services, you will be notified via our SNAP alert system by email, text, and phone.
