This course is designed to help individuals achieve the fundamental skills needed for working in a facility that uses welding in the manufacturing process: a basic foundation in welding, effective communication, accountability, safety, fork truck operation, and welding robotics.

This 96-hour course consisting of classroom theory and laboratory hands-on application. Course held at SKYCTC Bowling Green Main Campus - 1845 Loop Drive, Building F.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Participant Cost: $2,500.00

The Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) credentialing system for CPT covers four critical production functions: Safety, Quality, Continuous Improvement, Manufacturing Processes & Production, and Maintenance Awareness. MSSC is a nationally validated skill standard; common for all sectors of manufacturing.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • MSSC assesses core technical knowledge; therefore, a pre-assessment (TABE Test) is required - participants must meet 9th Grade Math and 10th Grade English standards
  • Participant Cost: $3,000.00
