Tons To Do At SKYCTC

Community colleges have long been referred to as commuter campuses, which means that students simply drive to campus to attend class and then leave. While that may have been the case 10 years ago, it isn’t anymore. In fact, SKYCTC has a big student life presence on campus.

Diverse Student Body

KYCTC has a diverse population of students, faculty, and staff. We welcome and encourage students of any ethnicity, culture, race, or national origin to attend SKYCTC. Everyone is treated as an equal at SKYCTC and we embrace all members of the community.

Student Ambassadors

At SKYCTC, every new student, traditional and non-traditional is assigned a Student Ambassador. Individually, each student will be contacted by a Student Ambassador in order to help with their transition into college life. Student Ambassadors will help promote and facilitate the college experience.

Student Government Association

To promote the growth, and development of student life in academic excellence, to represent the students in all phases of administrative effort, and to provide a means of promoting cooperative efforts for the general welfare of the college community.

Student Leadership Series

Through a combination of workshops, experiential activities and self-reflection, students will learn how to make positive change in their own lives and in their community.
