Academic Calendar

The academic calendar will tell you everything you need to know about deadlines, registration timetables, tuition due dates, holidays, special events, vacations, and the beginning and end of each semester.

Financial AID Priority Dates

So that your financial aid is ready when you begin classes, you should submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA) as soon as possible. Priority Filing Dates for SKYCTC are:

  • Before July 15 for the Fall semester
  • Before December 1 for the Spring semester
  • Before April 1 for the Summer term

August 22: Last day 100% refund first bi-term session
August 25: Last day 100% refund 16-week session
August 30: Bookstore charge period ends
September 2: Last day 50% refund first bi-term session

September 15: Last day for “W” first bi-term session
September 16: Last day 50% refund 16-week session
September 22: Inital Financial Aid Disbursement
September 26: Initial refund for Bank Mobile begins
October 14: Last day for “W” 16-week session
October 14-20: Fall Break
October 21: Second Bi-Term Begins
October 24: 2nd fall loan only refund for bank mobile begins
October 24: Last day 100% refund second bi-term session
November 4: Last day for 50% refund second bi-term session
November 5: Presidential Election Day (College Closed)
November 17: Last day for "W" second bi-term session
November 24: Bi term classes only disbursement
November 28- December 1: Thanksgiving Break (College closed)
December 6: Study Day
December 9-15: Final Examinations
December 16: Commencement
December 23-January 3, 2025: Institutional Closing

March 10-16: Spring Break (no classes)
March 16 : 2nd Spring Only Disbursement loan disbursement

Important reminder: Course attendance must be confirmed before a disbursement will occur. Students enrolled with multiple start dates may have a delay in the processing of funds until all coursework has been confirmed.
