SKYCTC Dual Credit Community Scholarship Applications

SKYCTC Dual Credit Community Scholarships are intended to support students with tuition for one eligible SKYCTC general education course in the 2026-2027 academic year, on a first-come, first-served basis as funding allows. Eligibility requirements include:

  • Student must be a junior or senior for the 2026-27 school year
  • Student must be enrolled at:
    • Allen County-Scottsville High School (Patriot Pathfinder Scholarship) or
    • Bowling Green High School, Greenwood High School, IMPACT Center High School, South Warren High School, Warren East High School, Warren Central High School (Community Pathfinders Scholarship)
  • Student must set their KHEAA preferences to use the one Kentucky Dual Credit Scholarship on a SKYCTC general education course, and be enrolled in a second general education course with SKYCTC for Fall 2026
    • Eligible courses are defined by KHEAA and exclude BIO 137, BIO 139, BIO 135, ECO 201, and ECO 202, because Work Ready Dual Credit scholarships can be used for these courses.
  • Student must receive guidance counselor approval (obtained by SKYCTC)

Note that Dual Credit Community scholarships are designated to complement existing financial assistance and are applied after other sources of financial aid, such as KHEAA state-funded scholarships or other available resources. The scholarship is non-refundable and only covers tuition, not textbooks or digital textbooks. The scholarship is limited to one scholarship per student in the 2026-27 academic year.
 
Completion of an application is not a guarantee of assistance. Scholarship decisions are made based on demonstrated financial need and available funding. Information provided on this application will be used solely for scholarship consideration. Applications must be submitted by September 15. Students will be notified by email if your application is approved.
