Kentucky Electric Cooperative Lineman Scholarship

This scholarship supports Kentucky Electric Cooperative lineworkers pursuing an associate degree at SKYCTC or any KCTCS College. It assists eligible lineworkers in continuing their education after completing the Lineman Apprenticeship Program.
 
The program awards college credit for apprenticeship training and creates a clear pathway for lineworkers to advance their technical skills, strengthen safety knowledge, and grow their careers through a KCTCS degree.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

• Be employed by a Kentucky Electric Cooperative.
• Have completed, or be in the final stages of completing, the Kentucky Electric Cooperatives’ Lineman Apprenticeship Program.
• Plan to pursue an associate degree at SKYCTC or any KCTCS College.
• Meet admissions and enrollment requirements.
• Demonstrate academic progress as required by scholarship policies.
